The
Holodomor International Remembrance Flame is traveling
around the world.
Its Canadian itinerary includes a stop
in Montreal on
Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. at
Place du Canada on boul. René-Lévesque
(corner of Peel St.)

Commemorating the Famine
of 1932-1933.
The Montreal UCC Branch sponsored a
memorial to the millions
who perished in the man-made famine in
Soviet Ukraine in 1932-33.
The ceremony was held at the monument
to 20th century genocides
"La Reparation", located at the corner
of Henri-Bourassa & L'Acadie
in Montreal, on Saturday, November
27th, 1999, at 1:00 p.m.
Also, in the evening a Solemn Oratory
Program took place at the
Ukrainian Youth Center, 3270 Beaubien
est, at 7:00 p.m.
