May 8, Ukraine President Victor Yushchenko is going to Moscow to attend a SIC summit. Ukrainian President will also take part in the celebrations marking the 60th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, meet with war veterans and attend the concert for veterans that is to take place at the Bolshoi Theatre.

Ukrainian President’s schedule for Moscow visit is now being settled.
According to Iryna Gerashchenko, President’s spokeswoman, Victor Yushchenko is planning to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Great Victory on 9 May in Kyiv.

And regarding the participation of Ukrainian leader in the celebrations that are to be held in Moscow on May 9, the protocol department of Ukraine’s President is now drawing up the ultimate variant of Victor Yushchenko’s schedule for Victory Day, taking into consideration the events that are to take place in Kyiv that day.
